St. Elmo school board members acted on several personnel matters at this week's meeting.

The board finalized a contract with Speech Pathologist Stacy Gibson for the coming school year, and approved employment of the extra-curricular staff for the coming year.

Abby Fryer was employed as full-time 5th/6th grade Social Studies teacher, and Natalie Stout was employed as part-time FACS teacher and FCCLA sponsor for the coming year. Randy Myers was employed as full-time bus driver, and Rebecca Brown as employed as substitute bus driver.

St. Elmo board members accepted the resignation of Doug Thurnau as high school Agriculture teacher.

The Board also agreed to seek bids for Pre-K playground equipment, contingent upon receiving grant funding, and adopted a tentative amended budget for the current fiscal year, with a hearing on the proposal on June 20.
