City Hall Will Close Early Friday; Related to Police Station Project

Effingham City Hall will be closing at 11am on Friday.

A planned power interruption at City Hall is scheduled at that time that will last until later in the day Saturday.

City Administrator Jim Arndt said the outage is related to the new police station construction project. Arndt said the police offices and the City 911 Dispatch Center will be operating on generator power, but all administrative offices in City Hall including utility billing will be closed until 7:30am Monday.
