Effingham County Junior Miss Elizabeth Weidner is promoting a coming video concerning childhood cancer, and you might be in the video.

Thursday is the deadline to submit a video to RISK IT Productions for the production called "I Promise...". It's a documentary that follows families dealing with childhood cancer in the search for answers, and a cure.

The producers are looking for one-sentence videos of what you promise your child, friend, relative or the like to tie in with the title of the production. As an example, "I promise to fight so no one else has to go through what my friend went through".  The only rule is that your statement must begin with "I promise...".

You can film on your cell phone, but the video must be horizontal. The video can be submitted to: kristi@riskitproductions directly or through Dropbox, WeTransfer, or Google Drive. A release form must by signed in order for your video to be used. You can get a release form from Elizabeth or the producers of "I Promise". If your video is not selected for the campaign video, it may be used for social media promotion on the production company's Facebook page.

The documentary will be premiered at CureFest on the National Mall in Washington, DC in September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
