Single Vehicle Crash Injures Three in Clay County

A single vehicle crash resulted in three injuries in Clay County on Friday.

Preliminary indications from District 12 State Police are that at 11:21 pm, a Saturn, driven by William Krantz, 28, of Louisville, was 2 miles south of Louisville, travelling westbound on North State Road, just east of US 45.  The Saturn drove into the left ditch and culvert, overturning the vehicle, and ejecting all 3 occupants.

Krantz was transported to Clay County Hospital, while both passengers, Jorie B. Fulk, 26, of Olney, and Dylan M. Willis, 26, of Louisville, were airlifted to Carle Hospital.  

State Police have charged Krantz with DUI, Improper Lane Usage, Illegal transportation of alcohol, Failure to wear seatbelt, and Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.  Fulk and Willis have pending charges.
