The Oldfield Myers Apke and Payne Law Group is adding attorneys and moving to a new home.

Joel A. Slater and Ariana E. Calderaro have joined the law firm as full shareholders/owners. Slater and Calderaro join the other four shareholders of the firm; David A. Oldfield, James Richard Myers, Pamela J Apke and Troy G. Payne.

The other big news concerns the location of the law group. For several years, the law group has had its offices in Effingham in the former Schneiderjon Law Office building on Jefferson Avenue. The firm is getting ready to relocate to the former Siemer, Austin, Resch and Fuhr building on North 3rd Street. The firm's telephone numbrs and email addresses will remain the same.

For four decades the firm has generally been known as The Law Group. In addition to the new shareholders and the new facilities, the attorneys have determined to formally begin using the name "Law Group of Illinois Ltd" to further reflect the general expansion of the law practice.

Law Group of Illinois is comprised of eight attorneys and 19 staff personnel.
