A Brownstown man has been sentenced to prison time for methamphetamine offenses in Effingham and Fayette counties.

58-year-old Glendall Jackson was sentenced in Fayette County Circuit Court to two years in prison for unlawful possession of meth. The sentence imposed by Judge Kevin Parker will run concurrent with the Effingham County offense.

Earlier this month, Jackson was sentenced by Judge Allan Lolie to five years in prison for the same offense in Effingham County. Jackson was arrested here for the offense last October.

Jackson will serve a year of mandatory supervised release once out of prison. A meth delivery charge here was dismissed as part of the plea.
