South Central school board members Wednesday acted on a number of personnel moves.

The Board granted tenure to Brittany Kramer and Stephanie Jones for next school year. Resignations were accepted from Jane Miller as high school cheerleading sponsor, from Lynn Smith as high school yearbook sponsor, from Sarah Shoemaker as social worker, from Morgan Crouse as an elementary teacher, from Kim Major as a school counselor, and from Jordan Pals as a middle school Science teacher and as middle school girls basketball coach. All of the resignations are as of the end of the school year except that of Crouse, whose resignation was effective March 15.

The Board hired Kaleb Welch as a high school Science teacher for next school year.

Board members also approved next school year's calendar; approved offering First Agency as voluntary student insurance provider; and approved a field trip for FFA to the state convention in Springfield June 12-14.

The Board also approved donations to local ballfields for use for sporting events, including $600 to Kinmundy Lions Ball Field and to Kinmundy Area Sports Complex, and $300 to the Village of Farina Ball Field.
