City Police Report on Several Accidents

On Thursday, March 8, at 4:42pm at the intersection of US Hwy 40 and Outer Belt West a vehicle driven by Jeremiah D. Allison, 28, of Paris, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Tammie R. Miller, 46, of Effingham. 

A passenger in Miller’s vehicle, Mary E. Evans, sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Allison was ticketed for Driving While License Suspended.

On Friday March 9, at 1:12pm south of the intersection of Keller and The Avenue of Mid America a vehicle driven by Taylor R. Watson, 26, of Teutopolis, rear-ended a  vehicle driven by Teneale R. Clark, 22, of Beecher City. 

There were no injuries, but Watson was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

On Monday, March 12, at 4:42pm north of the intersection of 3rd and Rickelman a vehicle driven by Houston E. Brown, 22, of Neoga, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Connie Rockwood, 60, of Windsor.  

Rockwood sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

Brown was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

Also on Monday at 5:06pm west of the intersection of Rickelman and Raney a vehicle driven by Melissa M. Kuhajda, 30, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Lawrence C. Maggiefield, 75, Chicago.

There were no injuries, However Kuhajda was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed  Avoid an Accident.
