Beecher City Resident Headed to Prison on Drug Count

Beecher City resident Jeffery Durbin is headed for prison on a drug count.

The 24-year-old Durbin pleaded guilty to a count of possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to two years in prison, with one year of mandatory supervised release once out of prison. Durbin was given credit for 43 days served in jail while awaiting disposition of his case. He must also pay a $500 assessment.

Durbin had been arrested by Altamont police early in January.
