A local man has been sentenced to prison time for sending sexual images without permission of the person in the video.

21-year-old Tristan Durre of Effingham pleaded guilty in October to a count of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images. He was accused of sending a video to a pornographic website without permission. A second similar count was dismissed as part of the plea.

Durre's plea was open, but Judge Allan Lolie agreed at the time to a sentence cap of four years in prison. During a hearing Tuesday, Lolie sentenced Durre to 30 months in prison, followed by one year mandatory supervised release.

Durre was also sentenced Tuesday to a concurrent 30-month prison term for aggravated battery involving use of a deadly weapon. That charge stems from a 2014 incident. The sending of the images charge was from 2016.
