Unit 40 Board Finalizes Several Personnel Moves

The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education finalized several personnel moves at Monday night's meeting.

Two retirements were approved; teacher Kelly Anderson as of the end of the 2020-2021 school year and longtime high school secretary Susie Cisna as of the end of the current school year.

Leaves of absence were accepted; from Michelle Michael and Mary Walters under the Family and Medical Leave Act, and Hannah Michael and Tammy Yingst. 

Resignations were accepted from Les Boothby as a cafeteria montor at the junior high school and from Dick Reimers as high school boys head track coach. Unit 40 Activities Director Dave Woltman was named to succeed Reimers and Michael Woltman will serve as assistant boys coach. Bethany Donaldson was named junior high boys track coach.

Lori West was hired as a three-hour cook at the junior high school.
