North Clay school board members Wednesday night heard from administrators about a possible sports co-op with the Flora school district.

Principal Keith Price and Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Brian Deadmond reported on a recent meeting with Flora officials on the possibility of doing a co-op for football and possibly other sports.

There was no action by the Board on the talks.

Board members also got information on possible solutions from their Buildings and Grounds Committee to a HVAC project at the high school building and a masonry issue at the 2003 building addition. The Committee was asked to obtain additional information that will be discussed at a Board special meeting on February 5.

The Board also discussed advertising for fuel bids, then directed Superintendent Monty Aldrich to make revisions to the bid specs and report back. More information will be posted once the Board reviews and finalizes the bid specs.
