A Jasper County burglary case has been resolved.

27-year-old Jeffrey Culter pleaded guilty this week to a count of burglary and was placed on four years' probation. Culter was arrested in July for taking cash, guns and electronics from Yale Rebuilders. Authorities at the time said Culter was suspected of attempting to burglarize several other businesses in Newton the same day.

In addition to the probation, Culter was sentenced to 180 days in jail, must undergo alcohol and drug treatment, and must make restitution for the items taken.
