Altamont Woman Injured in Crash Friday Morning

An Altamont resident was injured Friday morning in a crash in Jackson Township.
Effingham County Sheriff's Department said the crash occurred at 8:15am on 650th Street, a mile south of 950th Avenue.
Deputies report 30-year-old Melissa Kollman swerved to avoid hitting an uninvolved vehicle and went off the roadway to the right. The vehicle overturned in the ditch and came to rest on its top.
Kollman was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
No citations were issued.
