Ricky Horton to Appear at FCA Night of Champions in Effingham

Former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Ricky Horton will serve as keynote speaker for the 2018 "Night of Champions" in Effingham.

The event is sponsored annually to benefit the area Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

The "Night of Champions" will be held the evening of February 7 from 6 to 8pm. The event will take place at the Thelma Keller Convention Center.

Ricky Horton pitched in three World Series, two with the Cardinals in 1985 and 1987, and won a World Championship with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1988, their last championship before this past season.

Horton calls Cardinals games for radio on the Cardinals Radio Network and television broadcasts on FSN Midwest.

Ricky became the Director of the St. Louis Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 1993 and still serves in the position today.
