Preliminary investigative details indicate at 9:17pm Thursday night a car driven by a 16 year old female from Marshall was traveling Eastbound on County Rd 300N just East of County Rd 1000E.  The driver was traveling too fast and lost control of the vehicle.  The car traveled off the North side of the roadway and struck a ditch and then traveled back onto the roadway where it came to rest.

The driver and both passengers, Dustin Rash, 25 of West Union, and Matthew Matlock, 31 of West Liberty,  were all transported by Jasper County Ambulance to Richland Memorial Hospital.

The driver was charged with Exceeding the One Passenger Limit and Driving to Fast for Conditions.

Both passengers were ticketed for Failure to Wear Seatbelts.
