Car, Pickup, SUV All Involved in Fayette County Crash

A car, pickup truck and SUV were all involved in a weekend crash in Fayette County.

The crash happened at 9:54pm Sunday on US Route 51.

State police said the car driven by 19-year-old Rylee Wollerman of Vandalia failed to stop prior to rear-ending the pickup driven by 62-year-old Keith Hancock of Oconee. The impact caused both vehicles to cross into the oncoming lane where they both struck the SUV driven by 65-year-old Janet Manley of Vandalia.

Wollerman and Hancock were both taken by ambulance to Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia for treatment of what police termed minor injuries.

Wollerman was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
