HSHS Medical Group's "Ask An Expert" Program Features Endicrinologist

In recognition of National Diabetes Month, HSHS Medical Group’s newest “Ask an Expert” episode features Christie Razavi, MD, an endocrinologist at Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at HSHS Medical Group in Springfield. Dr. Razavi is featured in a 4-part video series that addresses common questions about diabetes. As an affiliate of the world-renowned Joslin Diabetes Center, an institution of Harvard Medical School, HSHS Medical Group will share best practices to address this disease.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 30.3 million people have diabetes (9.4% of the U.S. population)—23.1 million people are diagnosed and 7.2 million are undiagnosed (23.8% of people with diabetes are undiagnosed). In this special video series of “Ask an Expert”, Dr. Razavi will share valuable diabetes information including symptoms and treatment options. Dr. Razavi received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She completed her internal medicine residency and endocrine fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Razavi is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology.
