Banker Street Railroad Crossing to Be Closed for Three Days Mid-Month

The City of Effingham has been advised by CN Railroad that they will be closing the Banker Street railroad crossing on Effingham's south end from November 15th at 8AM through November 17th for repairs of the crossing.

This is a full closure of both north and south bound traffic with a resulting dramatic effect on traffic flow in the area. The 4th St. railroad crossing will be open.

The City will notify us if there are changes to the Railroad's plans, and when the crossing is operational.
