Effingham city officials have scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Damron Court on Friday morning.

The street will officially be dedicated to past mayor Dr. E.L. Damron who served from 1911 to 1913. Effingham has a tradition of naming roadways for past mayors.

Damron Court is the cul-de-sac built off Keller Drive that serves Panera Bread and Chipotle.

The ceremony is scheduled for 10am.
