C-H School Board Holds October Session

Cowden-Herrick school board members Thursday approved the tentative tax levy for the coming fiscal year, and also approved an amended budget for the fiscal year.

The Board approved QNS installing an updated firewall for the Cowden facility at a cost of $5,588; approved the purchase of window blinds for the high school building; but tabled an exterior awning to be located at the high school front doors.

Also, the Board approved the FFA National Convention trip October 25-27; and approved Jalen Hovis to volunteer as junior high boys basketball assistant coach.
