Effingham County Chamber of Commerce continues to mark its 100th anniversary with its "100 Acts of Service".

The effort is designed to give recognition to individuals, clubs or organizations that do something nice in the county.

The most recent entries are the Effingham Noon Rotary's park cleanup effort at Community Park in March, and Effingham Public Library's e-Recycling Day, held at Effingham Performance Center in August.

Regardless of when it occurred (or will occur) in 2017, a helping act will be recognized, including a segment of the Chamber's 2018 Recognition Banquet. It can be a one-time event, or it can be something nice you or your group does every year.

For more information, check the Chamber website, or contact Steve Raymond at 342-5583, Greg Sapp at 347-5518, or Michael Wall at 347-1854.
