A St. Elmo man has been sentenced in Fayette County Circuit Court after being found guilty on a series of charges.

47-year-old Thomas McCall was found guilty in August of unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth, unlawful use of property, and unlawful possession of cannabis.

In court Thursday, McCall was sentenced to nine years in prison on the possession with intent to deliver meth charge, four years in prison on the unlawful use of property count, and two years in prison on the possession of cannabis count. The sentences will all run concurrently.

McCall refused to attend his trial for what he alleged were constitutional reasons. He also initially declined to attend his sentencing hearing Thursday, then later went into the courtroom but after a disruption was asked to leave the courtroom.

McCall had been arrested in September of 2016.
