A Wheeler woman was injured in a crash Monday morning.

The crash happened at 6am in rural Jasper County, two miles southwest of Wheeler.

State police report a pickup truck driven by 54-year-old Lori Westendorf was traveling on Jasper County Road 350 East, south of County Road 900 North, when the truck ran off the right side of the roadway to avoid deer crossing the roadway. The vehicle struck the ditch and rolled onto its side.

Westendorf was airlifted to Carle Hospital in Urbana.
