Wednesday at the Illinois State Fair

Wednesday, August 16th is Governor's Day at the Illinois State Fair. While Governor Rauner attends much of the Illinois State Fair, this is his day to host special guests, including former Illinois Governors.

Here are just a few highlights of the events for Wednesday:

•        Swine Barn: Chester Whites, Spotted Swine, Poland Chinas starting at 7:00am       

•        Goat Barn: IDGA Dairy Goat Show at 8:30am

•       Grandstand: Harness Racing with post time 10:00am

•      Orr Building: Game Zone Activities starting at 12:00pm

•      Orr Building: Chicago Blackhawks Youth Hockey Exhibit @ 12:00pm

•      Rising Star Stage: Newlywed Game Show at 1:00pm

•       Ag Tent:  Hooper the Hypnotist at 2:00pm 

•      Rising Star Stage: Competitive Eating Contest at 3:00pm

•       Conservation World:  Fishing Clinic at 3:00pm

•      Rising Star Stage: David Adam Byrnes at 5:00pm (free concert!)

•      Multi-Purpose Arena: ITPA Truck & Track Pulls at 7:30pm

•      Grandstand: Alabama with Neal McCoy at 7:30pm
