Skaters from throughout Central Illinois are expected to attend the 2017 Ham City Jam Saturday.

The event will take place at the skate park at Hendelmeyer Park throughout the afternoon. This year's Jam is being held in honor of the late Nate Ebbert, who was a local skater until his death.

The entry fee is $10. $300 cash will be awarded to the first place expert, and tons of prizes will be given away. Categories will include Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, and prizes will be awarded to Best Trick and Game of SK8. There will be a Street League style finals.

The event will feature food and drinks and a DJ.
