A Plainfield, Indiana man was fatally injured in yet another crash near Montrose Wednesday afternoon.

61-year-old Daniel Waterfill was in a car traveling east on I-70, in the construction zone two miles east of Montrose at 1:33pm. Two semis were also traveling through the zone and all three vehicles were either slowing or stopped. A semi driven by 24-year-old Cole Johnson of Shelbyville failed to stop and struck the rear of Waterfill's car, pushing it into the rear of a rig driven by 73-year-old Dale Bondy of Waterloo, Iowa, which pushed Bondy's rig into the rear of a semi driven by 44-year-old Alerto Rios of Mexico.

Waterfill was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported.

Johnson was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
