During a special presentation, Fifth Third Bank representatives presented Community Support Systems with a check from the Paul and Virginia Koboldt Trust.

The bank serves as the Trustee for the Koboldt Charitable Trust, and each year they choose several area not-for-profits to receive distributions from the trust. Community Support Systems was once again chosen as a recipient of a distribution from the trust. Fifth Third Bank representatives say they're pleased to provide these funds to be used “effectively and efficiently…to relieve or alleviate human suffering in Effingham County,” as directed by the terms of the Koboldt Trust.

Community Support Systems officials say they're glad to receive the award and will use the monies to enhance the programs and services provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“With the support from our friends at Fifth Third Bank, we are able to continue to provide meaningful, compassion-centered quality services for our program participants and their families. We are extremely grateful to receive this donation,” said Executive Director Andy Kistler.
