Schools Say Social Media Post Untrue

The five public school districts in Effingham County say a recent social media post is untrue regarding the start of the school year.

The release from the school districts states that "all Effingham County schools will be in session on Monday, August 21, 2017". You're encouraged to contact your child's school if you have additional questions.

The release is from Altamont Unit 10, Beecher City Unit 20, Dieterich Unit 30, Effingham Unit 40 and Teutopolis Unit 50 school districts.
