Two people were taken for treatment after a three-vehicle noontime crash in Jasper County Thursday.

The crash happened at 12:01pm on Illinois Route 130 at the intersection with a county road.

Vehicles involved were driven by 47-year-old Christina Wilson of Willow Hill, 66-year-old Vicki Blankenbaker of Robinson and 39-year-old Christopher Edwards of Lovell, Wyoming. State police report Wilson was headed south, while Blankenbaker and Edwards were traveling north. Wilson's vehicle traveled across the centerline into Blankenbaker's path. Wilson's vehicle struck the Blankenbaker vehicle, causing Blankenbaker's vehicle to spin out of control. The Blankenbaker vehicle went into a ditch on the east side of the highway. Wilson's vehicle continued to slide down the highway, striking the Edwards vehicle. The Edwards unit spun into the eastside ditch. Wilson's vehicle came to a stop in the northbound lane of the highway.

Wilson was airlifted from the scene by Air Evac to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Blankenbaker was taken to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County.

Wilson was cited for improper lane usage and operating a vehicle with an expired registration.
