Shelbyville Man Given Prison Time for Animal Cruelty

A Shelbyville man has been given a three-year prison sentence for aggravated cruelty to animals.

26-year-old Robert Scribner reportedly took actions against a Chihuahua that resulted in its death after the dog bit him and a couple of his friends. The offense took place earlier this month.

Three individuals who wished to remain anonymous went to the authorities are reported the incident, leading to Scribner's arrest.
