Many admire The Cross at the Crossroads and would like to know of a way to show their support.

One way would be to serve as a volunteer greeter.

Greeters serve three-hour shifts between 10am and 7pm, and shifts are available seven days a week.

Some volunteers have served for many years and some are not quite able to do what they once did. Vacations and obligations, even to other causes, take away the ability of some to serve.

That could be where you come in.

Some individuals have regular shifts where they serve as greeters. Others serve as alternates in case regular greeters can't be there. It could be a way for you to find out if being a greeter is right up your alley.

There are still openings needing filled in August. Dates where shifts are open are August 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 29th. One shift is open on each of those dates.

For more information, phone the Cross office at 342-4100.
