Clay County board members Tuesday approved repairs to the roof of the courthouse in Louisville.

The work will involve corrections to the "eyebrows" of the roof, as well as to the middle section.

The Board also authorized taking bids for the sale of a drug seized and forfeited ATV; reappointed Harvey Cash to a six-year term on the Sheriff's Merit Commission; and awarded the low bid from Allendale Gravel for work on the Gill Bridge in Hoosier Township.

Board members named Clay City Mayor Rod Franklin to the South Central Illinois Regional Planning and Development Commission, replacing former mayor Trevor Bissey.
