Teutopolis village board members Wednesday finalized appropriation and budget figures for the new fiscal year.

The final appropriation totals $11,334,900.

Teutopolis Village Clerk Sharon Will said the village will not be spending nearly that amount, but took into consideration the new residential subdivision being planned in the southeast part of the village. If infrastructure improvements get underway, expenditures need to be included in the appropriations ordinance.

A vote on the appropriations ordinance will come at the village board's next meeting.

The Board also approved some technical corrections to its recently-revised code of ordinances for the village, and agreed to place liens on two residential properties for lack of payment of water bills.
