Teutopolis village board members have approved an updated list of building permit fees.

A $10 charge is in place for homes for each 100 square feet of floor space up to 20,000 square feet, and then $5 for each 100 square feet after that. A $25 fee is in place for each garage housing up to two vehicles, and a $50 fee for garages housing three or more vehicles. A permit for a sign is $25. A $25 fee is required for building permits in non-urban areas used for agricultural purposes. There is a $10 fee for a permit to raze a building.

The Board accepted a $39,703 bid from Larry Heuerman for oil and rock for street maintenance work, and awarded a bid of $5,460 for crack routing and filling work on Water Street to Seal Coat, Incorporated.

Teutopolis board members also made a change to the liquor ordinance, reinstating a 1am closing time on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
