The Neoga Board of Education went back to a former member to fill a vacancy on the board.

Don Strohl was named to a two-year term after not enough people ran in the April election. Strohl will serve until the next election, although he can then seek election.

The Neoga board also approved some personnel moves. Spencer Spear was hired as a fifth grade teacher and was named junior high Scholar Bowl coach. Nichelle Vaughn was hired to teach a second grade class, and Marie Brummer, who had been working on a part-time basis, was hired as a fulltime Spanish teacher. The Board also accepted the resignation of Zach Miller as high school baseball coach.

Neoga board members agreed to again offer bass fishing and swimming as sports utilizing all-volunteer assistance, approved a five-year copier contract, agreed to make the elementary school and high school parking lots available for staging the Neoga Days parade, and agreed to again host the Neoga Backpack Ministry.
