A trial date the week of July 31 has been set in Moultrie County for the woman charged in the crash that injured several Teutopolis High School students in February.

36-year-old Scarlett McKinzie of Mattoon is charged with three felony DUI counts, two misdemeanor DUI counts and four traffic charges stemming from the crash on Illinois Route 32 between Windsor and Sullivan February 10. McKinzie's van struck the school bus, causing the bus to overturn and injuring several Teutopolis ballplayers and cheerleaders.

McKinzie was ordered to go on trial following a hearing this week during which there was testimony that alcohol bottles and pill containers were found in McKinzie's vehicle. She is next due in court for a pre-trial hearing on July 13.
