Crash in Fayette County Injures One

A two-vehicle crash in Fayette County Monday evening injured one of the drivers.

State police say the crash occurred at 6:30pm at the Illinois Route 185/US Route 51 junction east of Vandalia. A car driven by 24-year-old Lois Adams of Kincaid pulled into the intersection into the lane of 25-year-old Craig Finley of Brownstown.

Adams was injured in the resulting collision and was taken by Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.

Adams was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
