100+ Year Businesses in County Being Sought

The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce plans to showcase all Effingham County businesses that have reached their 100+ year milestone anniversary serving Effingham County during the Chamber’s Centennial year.

Businesses should provide their business name, business start date in Effingham County and contact name with email and phone number to be included in a special 100+ year milestone business display.

Each 100+ year-old business is also invited to participate in the Chamber Centennial Summer Celebration event on Sunday, July 2 at the Sacred Heart Church grounds.  Business will receive a free 10 x 10 booth space in a special area of the event, with displays open from 12 Noon to 10 p.m. To reserve a booth, contact Debbie Womack ( dwomack@fnbwaterloo.com or 217-342-3200) or Norma Lansing ( nlansing@effinghamcountychamber.com or 217-342-4147) by May 15th.

This free community celebration will feature a vintage baseball game, carriage and carnival rides, a car show, adult and kid games and activities, food booths, music and much more.
