A scheduled informational training session hosted by Effingham city police about counterfeit bills at Effingham City Hall Wednesday has been postponed. City police said late Tuesday afternoon that due to "an unforeseen emergency", the Secret Service agent scheduled to present the training will be unable to make the presentation on Wednesday. The training will be rescheduled to a later date.

Secret Service Agent Chris Williams was scheduled to educate attendees about the current trends in counterfeiting, how to spot counterfeit bills, and the procedures for reporting suspected counterfeit activity.
