Police Investigating Three Burglaries from Vehicles

City police are investigating three burglaries from vehicles in recent days.

A burglary from a semi-truck occurred while the rig was parked at 1701 W. Evergreen between 10pm April 7 and 4am April 8. A spare tire was taken.

A burglary from a motor vehicle occurred while it was parked at 1910 S. Banker on Thursday between 7pm and 9:30pm. A backpack containing a laptop computer was taken, along with a college textbook, binder, calculator, and a checkbook. The backpack was valued at $70, the laptop at $600, the textbook at $130, the binder at $20, and the calculator at $90. The checkbook was later recovered.

Police are also investigating the theft of a wallet and contents at 1805 W. Fayette sometime between 3am and 2:27pm Sunday. A wallet was stolen that contained a wallet, driver's license, green card, debit card, fuel card, and an undetermined amount of cash.
