A crash in Beecher City resulted in injuries to two people.

Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports a car driven by 27-year-old Nicole Kessler of Beecher City was westbound on Poplar Street when the crash occurred. Kessler's car crossed into oncoming traffic, ran off the roadway, and struck a tree.

Kessler was injured as was her passenger, one-year-old Kendrick Julius of Beecher City. Both were taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
