Operation Christmas Child Begins Monday

Operation Christmas Child begins Monday, November 12 with Cornerstone Christian Church on South Route 45 again serving as the collection point.

Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide project overseen by Samaritan's Purse and designed to collect toys, books and personal hygiene items for children in need.  The items are placed in a decorated shoebox for mailing to countries worldwide.

Here's this year's collection schedule:

Monday, November 12--9am to noon

Tuesday, November 13--9am to noon

Wednesday, November 14--9am to noon

Thursday, November 15--6 to 8pm

Friday, November 16--6 to 8pm

Saturday, November 17--10am to noon

Sunday, November 18--2 to 5pm

Monday, November 19--9am to 8pm
