Blake Wins Circuit Clerk's Race in Jasper County

Republican Jamie Blake won election Tuesday as Circuit Clerk in Jasper County.

Blake defeated Democrat Travis Lingafelter, 3150 to 1828, in the contest to see who would succeed Cheryl Frederick as Circuit Clerk.

Republican Jason Meyer was re-elected County Coroner, defeating Democrat Daniel Alzate, 3443 to 1527. 

Republican Kevin Parker was re-elected State's Attorney, defeating Democrat Bill Hoffeditz, 3406 to 1526.

There was a contested race for Jasper County Board in District One, where there were five candidates for four seats.  Those elected with their vote totals: Everett Miller--1032, Brian Leffler--950, Ed Mitchell--847 and Ronald Swick--795.  Gary Michl received 743 votes.
