St. Anthony High School Superintendent Fr. Chris Brey announced the high school has kicked off its annual fundraiser that gives participants the chance to win a 2018 Grand Sport Corvette Coupe.

St. Anthony High School’s Annual Corvette Raffle is underway, with this year’s Grand Prize winner getting one of three options:

  • 2018 Grand Sport Corvette Coupe, a $80,700 value
  • Build-Your-Own 2018 Corvette Coup or Convertible, a $76,000 value
  • $65,000 Cash

This year’s fundraiser marks the 20th year of the annual Corvette Raffle, with proceeds benefiting St. Anthony High School.

“The Corvette Raffle is the biggest fundraiser for St. Anthony High School. This year is even more special for its twenty year milestone,” said Brey. “This has become a tradition at St. Anthony’s that we are happy to be a part of.”

The fundraiser began 20 years ago to coincide with Mid America Motorworks Annual Corvette Funfest, and it continues to be successful each year. The 1800 Grand Prize Tickets will be sold for $100 from now until the Funfest, and a Grand Prize winner will be selected during the annual event. Participants do not have to be present to win.

“The funds from this raffle generate money for several programs at St. Anthony High School,” said Brey. “We encourage participants to spread the word to help our students.”

A “Special Raffle” called “Increase Your Odds” coincides with the Grand Prize raffle. Tickets for the “Increase Your Odds” raffle can be purchased for $20, with prizes being first and second prize drawings and each prize including Grand Prize tickets.

The First Prize winner will receive $1,000 cash, along with 10 Grand Prize tickets; the Second Prize winner will receive $500 cash, along with 5 Grand Prize tickets. The “Increase Your Odds” drawing will be held just before the Grand Prize drawing, and all tickets won as prizes will be included in the Grand Prize drawing.

Additional cash and tickets can also be won during the Early Bird drawings, which will be held March 15May 3June 21, and August 9. Each of the winners of the early bird drawings will receive $500, two $100 Grand Prize tickets and one “Increase Your Odds” ticket.

Last year, Bryan Voss of Perrsyburg, Ohio, won the Grand Prize. A total of 1,560 “Grand Prize” tickets were sold, and an additional 1,353 tickets were sold to those who wished to increase their odds. As a result, the high school netted over $81,000 in ticket sales after expenses.
