Two Injured in Wednesday Crash at Fayette and Henrietta

Two people were injured in a crash Wednesday at Fayette and Henrietta in Effingham.

City police report the crash occurred just before noon. A vehicle driven by 18-year-old Delaney Huber of Teutopolis pulled into the path of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Julie Heiden of Effingham.

Huber and a passenger in Huber's vehicle, 20-year-old Payton Kocher of Newton, were injured and were taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Huber was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
