Fatal Crash Early Saturday in Clay County

A Louisville man was fatally injured in an early Saturday crash in Clay County.

30-year-old Henry Rockwood was the person killed. State police say Rockwood was traveling west on Athens Lane when his vehicle exited the roadway to the south, drove off a bridge and overturned. The car came to rest upside down at the bottom of the creek bed.

Clay County Coroner Wesley Miller pronounced Rockwood dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at 2 a.m.
