The re-sentencing of Clifford Baker in Fayette County has again been continued.

Baker is the Loogootee native convicted in 2011 of the murders of Mike Mahon and Deb Tish in their Loogootee home. He was sentenced to natural life in prison without possibility of parole.

Baker was 15 at the time of the murders. The US Supreme Court later ruled that life without possibility of parole for those under age 18 is unconstitutional, so Baker's sentence was thrown out. His convictions for the murder still stands and he remains in prison.

The case was in court Wedneday for a telephone conference call to review the defense's efforts to secure a mitigation expert. No resolution was reached Wednesday, though, so the matter was set for further discussion on Janaury 5.
