A follow up on a story about a Lucky Day lotto winner in Effingham earlier this year.

We told you in April that two winning tickets were sold, each worth $300,000. One was sold at the Jack Flash store on Keller Drive in Effingham.

Store Manager Gail Bushue said the holder of the ticket wished to remain anonymous. Bushue said Lottery officials said they could do so if they wished. He said the ticket holder has claimed the prize, and said it was someone local.

The Jack Flash store received a bonus equal to 1% of the prize, or $3,000.
