City Police Investigating Auto Theft

Effingham City Police are investigating an auto theft.

The vehicle was parked in the 1000 block of Crestwood Drive when it was stolen sometime between 10pm Wednesday and 10am Thursday. The car, a 2005 gray Chevy Impala, is valued at $5,000.

Inside the vehicle were several items that were also stolen: a wallet valued at $10 containing a driver's license and debit card, and a desk top computer valued at $800.
